What to expect

Four things worth knowing.

The pace is yours

Four to five hours with a break, seating throughout the classroom portion, and an instructor who will go over anything twice.

Grip strength has answers

If racking a slide is hard, there are firearms and techniques that solve it. That's a conversation worth having on the range rather than in a shop.

Is there an upper age limit?
No. The state's requirements are about eligibility, not age.
I have arthritis / limited hand strength.
Tell us when you book. It's common and there are real solutions — the wrong firearm makes it impossible, the right one makes it easy.
Can I sit down during the class?
Yes, the classroom portion is seated throughout.
How much walking is involved?
Very little. Parking is on site and the range is in the same building.
