Gunmen Held Up a Milford Grocery Full of Regulars
Two gunmen ordered employees at Milford's Aroma Brazil grocery to empty the registers while a getaway driver waited outside. Arrests followed within a week.

According to CBS Boston, they ordered employees to empty the cash register while threatening the customers inside. One employee was held at gunpoint and the others were warned against calling police. A third man waited outside in a getaway vehicle.
The robbers made off with a large amount of cash from the small business. No one was physically injured, but employees and shoppers spent those minutes doing whatever the gunmen said.
Milford police made arrests within about a week, taking one suspect into custody after a standoff at a home and another later the same evening. The police chief credited the local Brazilian community with helping track down the suspects, telling reporters the community was critical to the case.
