do I need to own a gun for this?

No. We provide the firearm, the ammunition for the class, and your ear and eye protection. Most students don't own one yet — that's usually the point of taking the class.

I've honestly never touched a firearm. will I be the only one? 😅

No. First-timers are the majority of every class we run. The whole course assumes you're starting from zero, and the instructor stands next to you on the range.

is any of it done from home?

We email you a prep video as soon as you reserve and you can watch it at home. The class itself is four to five hours, in person, here. The video is a head start, not a replacement for any part of it.

what do I need to bring?

Yourself and a photo ID. No tank tops or shirts where the brass could fall down your shirt, and no sandals. Everything else is here.

do you help me apply afterwards?

Applying is your own step with your own police department. We go over the basics of the application in class, so you feel prepped to do it on your own.

and what if I get denied?

If you take the course, follow the instructions, have no disqualifications and apply within a reasonable timeframe but are still denied, we refund the cost of your course.
