Two Weeks Later, the Fake City Workers Knocked Again
Weeks after a similar Dorchester invasion, men posing as city workers got into a Blue Hill Avenue apartment, restrained the resident, and robbed him.

Once inside, they restrained the resident with duct tape and zip ties and robbed him at knifepoint.
After the men left, it took the resident roughly an hour to work himself free and call 911.
Earlier that same month, an elderly man on Adams Street in Dorchester had been targeted by intruders using the same city-worker disguise. At the time of the report, investigators had not officially connected the two cases, and no arrests had been announced. One neighbor told WBZ the news left people scared, but determined to look out for one another and for the older residents on the block.
