Someone Had Been Living in Their South End Apartment
A family's house sitter walked in on an intruder rushing out of their street-level South End apartment. She had slept, bathed, and taken jewelry, police said.

He went after her and recovered a bag she had allegedly taken, according to NBC10 Boston.
Inside, it was clear she had not just grabbed and gone. Police reported rooms rearranged and food and drinks opened throughout the apartment. The resident said the intruder had slept in their bed, taken a bath, and made off with jewelry, clothing, and handbags.
Police told NBC10 the same woman had been arrested one day earlier, accused of trying to kick in the rear door of an apartment a block away. She was arrested again days after the break-in on outstanding warrants and held.
