Two Gunmen Emptied the Register at a South Attleboro Corner Store
Armed men hit a South Attleboro lottery and smoke shop in October 2023, taking about $8,000. Police linked it to two other robberies within 40 minutes.

The cashier opened the register, and the robbers grabbed roughly $8,000 before fleeing. The cashier was not physically hurt.
Police said the same trio, dressed in black, was believed to be behind two other convenience store robberies just over the state line in Central Falls and Pawtucket, Rhode Island, all three within about 40 minutes. Surveillance cameras captured the robberies at every location, and police departments on both sides of the border worked the case together and asked the public for tips.

Three stores were hit in 40 minutes, which means three different clerks, and whoever happened to be standing in line at each one, had a gun in their evening without any warning.
