A Delivery Driver in Roslindale Was Carjacked Mid-Shift
Two masked suspects, one reportedly armed, took an Uber Eats driver's car in Roslindale mid-afternoon. Three arrests followed the same day.
Scene imagery is illustrative — not the actual locationOn February 5, 2025, just before 4:30 in the afternoon, an Uber Eats delivery driver near Archdale Road in Roslindale was confronted by two people in ski masks who took his vehicle, according to Boston 25 News. The driver told officers one of them was carrying a gun.
The driver was not hurt. Police recovered the stolen vehicle behind a building on Cummins Highway a short time later.
Three people were arrested and charged in connection with the carjacking, including a 15-year-old, police said. Officers also reported recovering a discarded, loaded untraceable firearm nearby. The case moved to court; the charges were allegations at the time of the report.
