A South Boston man and his partner woke at 4:30 a.m. to a stranger in their bedroom. He chased the man out. Police believe an unlocked slider let him in.

His partner was asleep beside him. He got out of bed and chased the intruder out of the apartment.
The tenants believed the man got in through an unlocked slider door. Nothing was reported taken, there were no signs of forced entry, and the couple could not describe the man to police.
That same morning, a neighbor on Telegraph Street told NBC10 he was in bed when he heard his window open — and looked over to see a man's head poking through, staring at him, before the man ran off. Police had not said whether the incidents were connected, and no arrests were announced.
