A Chelsea Clerk Faced a Robber Holding Two Knives
A man armed with two knives attacked the clerk at a Chelsea convenience store. The clerk was unarmed, the robber fled empty-handed, and police made an arrest.

Surveillance footage, described by 7News, showed the attack unfolding behind the counter as the clerk, who had no weapon, struggled to defend himself.
The robber ultimately fled without getting any money. A coworker who saw the video told 7News the clerk had been fighting for his life against a man with two knives while having nothing to defend himself with.
Police arrested a 27-year-old suspect at an apartment near the store and recovered a knife they believe was used in the attack. He faced charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery. Officials noted the incident could have ended far worse.
