On Halloween Night, a Lynn Clerk Was Attacked Behind His Counter
A clerk at a Lynn convenience store was beaten behind his own counter on Halloween and hospitalized. A 22-year-old suspect was arrested days later.

According to CBS Boston, surveillance footage showed a man hopping over the counter and attacking him, knocking him to the ground and punching him repeatedly.
The clerk was taken to the hospital with injuries a prosecutor described as significant. Police spent the following days talking to witnesses, and a 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery, and malicious destruction of property, among other counts.
At his arraignment, he pleaded not guilty and was held without bail pending a hearing. Prosecutors noted he was already on probation for a separate matter at the time of the attack.
